WISECP Module Configuration
After the installation is complete, follow the steps below to activate and configure the module:
1. From the Admin Panel menu, follow "Products/Services > Domain Name Registration > Domain Name Registrars".
2. On the page that appears, find the "DomainNameAPI" module and click the "Configure" button.
3. On the page that opens there are the following fields and settings. For the settings that are required to to be filled in, you can contact the domain service provider's support team and request this information:
- Your Reseller Username: The reseller username that registrar of the domain name provides for you.
- Your Dealer Password: The password with which you log in to the domain name registrar.
- Whois Hiding Fee: Define it if you want to charge a fee for the Whois protection service.
- Auto Update Costs: When you enable this function, your WISECP will connect to the domain registrar API every day and process the current costs of the extensions into the system by taking into account the current exchange rates and the profit rate that you define for the extensions.
- Cost Currency: The currency that your domain registrar offers on the API for the costs of extensions. (This is usually USD currency.)
- Profit Rate (%): This is the profit rate that you will define for the sales of extensions. By using this function, all extensions will be priced according to the rate you set.
- Import Extensions: All extensions supported by the domain registrar are imported in bulk via the API.
- Test Connection: The validity of the data that you enter is tested.
