How to Transfer TR Domain Names?

The following process is followed in the .tr domain transfer process;

The domain owner who wants to change the Registrar Establishment - Domain company from which he/she receives service requests the authorization code from the website of the donor Domain Company.

Following the request, the donor DOMAIN COMPANY immediately presents the authorization code to the Domain owner.

DOMAIN OWNER uses this code to apply from the website of the Domain Company to which he/she will transfer.

Recipient DOMAIN COMPANY forwards the application received to TRABIS.

In case the transfer conditions are appropriate, TRABIS forwards the request to the DOMAIN COMPANY to be transferred.

The DOMAIN COMPANY whose domain is registered responds to the transfer request within 24 (twenty-four) hours. Requests that are not answered within this period are deemed to have been accepted. The DOMAIN COMPANY, which will give the transfer code, can only refuse the transfer in cases determined by the Regulation and Communique.

The domain firm TRABIS informs the buyer DOMAIN COMPANY, and the DOMAIN OWNER at the buyer DOMAIN COMPANY.

(2) All AUTHORIZED DOMAIN COMPANIES take the necessary measures on their websites to ensure that the authorization code is accessed by the DOMAIN OWNER with the least amount of ease encountered in applications and other transactions. The DOMAIN COMPANY cannot prevent the DOMAIN OWNER from accessing this code for reasons such as debt.

Rejection of transfer

TRABIS does not perform the transfer, in case where the code sent to it for verification by the recipient and the donor DOMAIN COMPANY does not match.

TRABİS rejects the transfer request received by the buyer DOMAIN COMPANY, in cases where

the Domain Registrar has not passed sixty days since its initial allocation,

it has not been sixty days since the Domain Registrar was transferred to the existing DOMAIN COMPANY,

there is less than fifteen days until the end of the Domain Registrar allocation period,

the Domain Registrar is frozen.

The existing DOMAIN COMPANY notifies TRABIS that it has refused the transfer, together with its justification.

In case where there is more than one request for the same IAA in the preliminary evaluation, the relevant IAA is closed for allocation and the auction method is then applied for this IAA.

IAAs with only one request and IAAs with no request are allocated within the framework of the "first come, first served" rule, with the start of operation of TRABIS.

For the transfer of domains with .tr extension, firstly from the left menu;
1. Click on the Domain transfer link.
2. Type which .tr extension domain you want to transfer. Ex. domainname.com.tr
3. Enter any authorization code and Search. Ex. arAgpO ** (.tr extension havent got transfer code)
